I try to be independent as far as equipment is concerned. I have my own lighting and on-set sound equipment.

My main camera is the DJI Ronin 4D which I use in combination with the DJI High Bright remote monitor. For dynamic shots, I may use the DJI Flex solution. This allows me to detach the camera including its 3D gimbal and control handles from the main body.

I also used the Nikon Z9 and Z8 as secondary cameras. They can take beautiful footage at very high quality but lack many of the configuration options that other professional film cameras have. I will only use them for foto shoots from now on and instead use the new Nikon RED ZR camera since this allows me to use my excellent Nikon Z lenses without an adapter. There are many other benefits that this camera offers, for example 15+ stops dynamic range, the RED codec, gamma and colour space, and more.
