Peoples of the Omo

The Omo region in Ethiopia is a fascinating micro cosmos of separate tribe nations living in close proximity. On the way from Arba Minch to the Omo river, you will drive past around a dozen of completely distinct ethnic groups with their unique culture, language, clothing, customs and food. They also look distinctly different and in many cases their languages are not even related even though the next tribe may only be a few kilometers away.
